Blige, Bill Withers, RenΓ© & Angela, Bobby Womack, and Confunkshun, Crawford steps fully into the spotlight with a project that reflects his depth, experience, and creative vision.
Beyond his work as an arranger, David Crawford is an accomplished producer and composer πΆ. He produced Vesta Williams’ Billboard R&B Top 10 hit Once Bitten, Twice Shy and multiple tracks for the R&B group Woods Empire. His career also includes recording with jazz icon Ahmad Jamal and The Temptations, as well as performing alongside Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes π.
In orchestral settings, Crawford has performed with the Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra, the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra, and the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra πΌ. Renaissance blends smooth jazz sophistication with soul, history, and modern expression, representing a sound that is both rooted in legacy and moving forward.
